The Atomic Bomb paper is your last assignment of the year & it needs to be submitted by Sunday at midnight.  Follow the instructions below to submit your paper.

Class Period - Full Name - Paper Title
Example ( C Period - Greg Kulowiec - Truman's Decision )

2. Go to http://dropitto.me/gkulowiec

3. Type in the password: kulowiec

4. Select your paper

5. Upload your paper

6. Click Logout

**If for some strange, unexpected and rare instance in which you do not have internet access or cannot drop your paper into my dropbox, you must bring in a hard copy on Monday.**

Wednesday, June 1st

All Classes - Students continued to watch Ken Burn's documentary, The War.  Today we moved on to part VI of the documentary which covers the Allied victory over Hitler & the island hopping campaign in the Pacific.

All Classes Homework - Complete your Cornell style notes from Tuesday & Wednesday.  Be sure to review the notes, create questions in the left hand column & write a summary for each film below your notes.  This homework will be checked on Thursday.

Tuesday, May 31st

All Classes: Students watched excerpts from part 3 of Ken Burn's documentary, "The War." The excerpts covered the 1944 invasion of France, D-Day.

Homework - If you have not yet posted to the Holocaust Responsibility Blog, please do so tonight.

Once you have posted, you have to find a post by a student from Mr. McCusker's class and leave them a comment.  To find one of their posts, you can type McCusker into the the search box and it will filter out all of our posts.  Find a post that does not already have a comment.

Thursday, May 19th

All Classes: Students watched Night and Fog, the 1956 documentary by Alain Resnais about the Holocaust. The film cuts between footage from 1955 to footage from 1933-1945 and portrays what took place during WWII. I did my very best to prep the students for what we were going to watch, giving anyone the opportunity to not watch & leave the room if they desired. The assignment that everyone has to complete is embedded below.

Wednesday, May 18th

All Classes: Students analyzed Nazi legislation from 1933-1939 & voted on the most significant laws passed with Polleverywhere. We then watched two short films from the Holocaust Museum that explained the beginning & growth of the Holocaust during WWII.

Friday

All classes watched parts I and II of 'The Century - 1936-1941' & took notes from the film.
We will finish the film and watch part III on Monday.

C Period Homework: By Thursday all students in C period must complete an individual component to the project.
- Write a response to the project that explains your individual perspective, analysis, opinion, connections & lessons learned from the project.
