All Classes: Students continued our second unit, The Rise of Islam, by watching Part I of the PBS Documentary, "Empire of Faith". While watching the film, students took notes using the Cornell Note Taking system.
Homework: Complete the Cornell Notes by filling in questions in the left hand column that are answered by the notes taken in the right hand column. Then, write a brief summary of the notes on the bottom of the page.
C Period Homework: Read through the Last Sermond of Muhammad & answer the three discussion questions on the back of the reading.
