All Classes: Students completed a DBQ (Document Based Question) packet about the Spread of Islam.
C Period Homework: Write a rough draft essay based on the DBQ. Be sure to include a thesis statement in your essay as well as specific documents, authors, excerpts and explanation. You may also outline the essay instead.
D & E Period Homework: Write a well developed paragraph that explains why Islam spread so rapidly. Be sure to include at least four (4) documents in your response. When refering to a document, include the author, portion of the quote and your explanation.
