All Classes - Students explored three key events from the early Middle Ages: The Battle of Tours, Crowning of Charlemagne & Viking Invasions.
During class, students read from the textbook about each event & then compared their findings to the History Channel's version of the event in "Dark Ages"
C, D & E Period Homework: Read the Article, "Viking's Barbaric Bad Rap Beginning to Fade" and answer the following question. Do the vikings deserve their reputation? Defend your response with evidence from class & the reading.
F Period Homework: On the back of the chart used in class, explain which of the three events is the most significant in the early Middle Ages. Defend your response.
